Which CBD Oil to Choose
What is the difference between CBD and THC?
The CBD plant is a relatively complex product which, when you look at its composition, turns out to be composed of several hundred molecules, some of which are cannabinoids. Cannabinoids are chemical substances that produce effects on the receptors of the human body (whether on the nervous system, organs or the immune system).
While CBD and THC are both cannabinoids, these two chemicals do not produce the same effects. While THC is a psychotropic drug and produces a high – and by the way is illegal in France – CBD does not induce this state. It acts differently.
How does CBD work?
CBD to produce its effects uses the endocannabinoid system. The latter was discovered in the 1990s, although there are still many aspects to discover. Specifically, it is a complex system present in the human body that influences appetite, sleep, mood and memory. It is composed of three main elements: receptors, enzymes and endocannabinoids.

When the body ingests cannabinoids, enzymes break down these molecules to turn them into endocannabinoids, which are able to attach to receptors and produce their effects.
What is CBD oil?
CBD oil is a product that consists of oil (you guessed it) infused with CBD. The oil in question is usually chosen from those that are easily digested, such as coconut oil, olive oil, grape seed oil or can also be directly from cold extracted hemp oil.
CBD oil is therefore at least a mixture of CBD and oil. But there are also many products that contain other ingredients, depending on how CBD is extracted from the plant. Thus, other oils may include terpenes or phytonutrients, that is to say nutrients from plants, or even essential oils if they have been added during manufacture.
What concentration of CBD to choose?
The concentration of CBD can vary widely from one oil to another. The CBD is indeed extracted from the whole plant in order to reach a purity of almost 100%, with the help of solvents. The CBD then takes the form of crystals and is thus not at all liquid.
The desired concentration is then obtained by dissolving the crystals in the chosen oil, until obtaining the desired percentage of CBD. The oils generally displaying percentage of concentration between 5 % and 40 %, it is thus necessary to determine which is made for you. And to answer this question, it is necessary to take into account several factors: the intensity of the effects which you seek, your weight and your size. The effects induced by CBD (better sleep, stress relief in particular) will vary from one individual to another.
The key to determining the right dosage is to experiment. Start with between 5% and 15% depending on your body type and your state of stress, pour 3 to 4 drops under your tongue and swallow after one minute. Repeat the operation three times a day, and after a few days you will have a small idea of the effects it produces on your body. If you are satisfied, you have found the right dosage. If not, move on to the next dosage. It should be noted that the 5% and 10% dosages will work well in most cases. Learn more information on the best cbd oil in this link.
Cibdol, the CBD Made in Switzerland
Cibdol is a Helvetian brand that offers European hemp oils (thus meeting a precise specification) 100% natural. The oils are pure because they do not include waxes, fats or impurities. They are obtained through a filtration process developed by the brand.
The production is carried out directly in Switzerland, according to a precise process (extraction, decarbonation, purification, enrichment in terpenes and finally quality control).
As far as taste and texture are concerned, the oils are of good quality since they are relatively discreet in the mouth and have a non-pasty texture.
